National Exporters’ Week and the Exporters Exhibit opens today!

PASAY— The Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB), Export Development Council (EDC), and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) opened the National Exporters’ Week (NEW) 2023 on 04 December 2023 at the Sheraton Manila Hotel, Pasay City.

The ribbon cutting was graced by DTI Secretary Fred Pascual (center), DTI – Industry Development, Trade, and Investment Promotion Group (IDTIPG) Undersecretary Ceferino Rodolfo (2nd from right), and PHILEXPORT President Sergio R. Ortiz Luis Jr. (4th from left). They were joined by (l-r) DTI-EMB Assistant Director Jhino B. Ilano, PHILEXPORT Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Senen M. Perlada, CITEM Executive Director Edward L. Ferreira, EDC Deputy Executive Director Elsa Dela Paz-Valenzuela, PHILEXPORT Trustee Garments Sector Diana H. Santos, and DTI-EMB Director Bianca Pearl Sykimte.

The NEW 2023 features an Exporters’ Exhibit from 04 – 07 December. For December 4, an activity focused on Capacity building workshop for women-owned/led businesses was also organized in partnership with the International Trade Center (ITC), and the Women Business Council Philippines under the SheTrades Philippines Hub and supported by the Visa Foundation.
